Industry Leaders to Demonstrate Joint Enterprise Mobility Solution at Alaska IT Expo

PLEASANTON, Calif., Sept. 25, 2008 – Trapeze Networks and Agito Networks, Inc., today announced the certified interoperability between Trapeze Networks’ line of NonStop Wireless™ networking equipment and Agito Networks’ RoamAnywhere™ enterprise fixed mobile convergence (eFMC) solution.

As a result of this interoperability work and certification for customers, the companies are delivering a reliable enterprise mobility solution that uniquely leverages voice over WLAN and location technology to improve mobile workers’ accessibility and responsiveness with low-cost in-building voice coverage. The solution reduces cellular costs and improves visibility and control over cellular usage for enterprises. The companies will demonstrate this interoperability in a joint exhibit at Alaska’s premier IT tradeshow, the IT Expo 2008, in booth #1 at the Egan Center on Sept. 30 in Anchorage, Alaska.

“Voice over a wireless LAN demands a level of reliability that is unique to Trapeze Networks,” said Ahmet Tuncay, executive vice president of product management and business development. “Agito has seen for itself that Trapeze Networks’ NonStop Wireless networking is a robust wireless infrastructure for its voice solution. And Trapeze Networks believes Agito is clearly the leader in enterprise FMC, extending voice and unified communications to cellular telephones. We’re delighted to be working together.”

“We are excited to announce this interoperability certification and look forward to jointly participating with Trapeze Networks at IT Expo 2008 to introduce the combined enterprise mobility solution to organizations in this region,” said Mark Cashman, VP of business development for Agito Networks. “The robust location functionalities of the Trapeze WLAN is a good complement to the enterprise-class architecture of Agito’s RoamAnywhere, which with location-based technologies delivers a superior mobile voice experience for users. Together with Trapeze, Agito delivers a scalable and reliable way for enterprises to extend voice services to mobile workers, while reducing costs and increasing visibility and control.”
